Installing the DVD-RW Drive
Use this procedure to install the DVD-RW drive upgrade in the M-Series iVDR.
Procedure summary:
• “Attach DVD drive mounting brackets”
• “Set DVD drive jumper to “slave” mode”
• “Power-off the iVDR and remove the power cord”
• “Remove the iVDR top cover”
• “Remove the top drive bay EMI shield”
• “Install the DVD drive”
• “Replace the top cover”
• “Power-on the iVDR and test the DVD drive”
• “Using the DVD-RW drive”
Tools needed:
• Torx tool with T15 tip
• Phillips tip screw driver
