Chapter 4 Installing the Media Disk Upgrade
The backup complete message appears confirming the successful backup.
7. Select OK .
The Media File System is backed up.
NOTE: If needed, refer to the M-Series Service Manual for information on restoring
the media file system using the backup file.
Power-off the iVDR and remove the power cord
1. In the Storage Utility, select Close , then select No to close without rebooting the
iVDR.
2. Click Ok in the information message.
3. Use Windows to shut down and power off the iVDR as follows:
a. In the Windows task bar, click Shut Down .
b. Select Shut down , then click OK .
c. Wait for the iVDR to automatically power-off.
4. Remove iVDR power cord.
