7.4.4.2 Network Properties Windows 95/98
Right click on Network Neighborhood, choose Properties.
Configuration:
Choose TCP/IP and click on Properties

Choose Specify an IP address
•
Register a IP Address (192.168.0.xxx)
•
Register a Subnet Mask (255.255.255.0)
•
Click on OK
Choose File and Print Sharing
•
Select I want to be able to give others access to my files.
•
Select I want to be able to allow to print to my printer(s).
•
Click on OK
Identification:
•
Register a computer name
•
Register a workgroup
•
Click on OK and reboot the PC / Laptop.
