7.4.1
How to Calibrate the TouchScreen
In order to arrive the menu „Touchscreen Calibration“, go the following path:
Home / Install / Touchscreen Calibration / Start Calibr.
or use the following shortcut:
Menu Lock + User 3
and follow the instructions on the display.
7.4.2
Lost LAN Connection
Connect to a mainframe (in case the panel lost the IP address and therefore does not
connect automatically
Proceed as follows:
• Press the following buttons together in TRANSITION subpanel:
Black Preset + Trans PVW + Key3,
this switches the EFFECTS subpanel into address entry mode,
• Type in the last group of the mainframe IP address (example, if the address is
"192.168.0.70" type in "70") and press ENTER.
• The panel will 'load systemfiles' etc. i.e. connect to the mainframe.
7.4.3
Problems with Network Configuration
When an IP address of a KayakDD frame has been changed in order to integrate the
devices into an existing network and the subnet mask of the device does not fit to the
mask of the network, the connection between frame and panel will be lost.
In this case establish a serial terminal connection to the frame and replace the IP
address. This should be done by qualified service personnel only!
Type the following command into the terminal shell:
sysIPAddressSet “
After pressing ‘Rescan’ in the Device Control menu of the panel, the frame should be
visible again. If ‘Rescan’ doesn’t help, reboot frame and panel.
