If the Managed Channels section of the menu ribbon is grayed out, either a channel
has not been selected or you are not licensed to manage channels. Once configured,
the managed channels appear in the Dyno PA Channel Control pane.

Click on the channel name to select the channel. The selected channel is displayed
with a blue background. Use the transport controls to record, play, stop, or move the
asset or playlist backward or forward.

Adding a managed channel

A managed channel is an AppCenter channel on a K2 system, which can be controlled
remotely through the K2 Dyno PA application.

Prerequisites:

At least one K2 system must have been added as a server to the Dyno PA
application.

You must have a license that allows managing channels.

To add a managed channel, follow these steps:

1. Select the Managed Channels tab.

2. Right-click in the Managed Channels pane select

New Channel

.

The Managed Channel dialog box displays.

3. Enter the name of the managed channel.

4. If desired, enter a description of the channel.

5. From the Server drop-down list, select the K2 system that has the channel you want

to manage.

6. From the Channel drop-down list, select the channel that you wish to manage and

click

OK

A managed channel appears in the Managed Channels pane.

Creating a group of managed channels

You can group managed channels together so that the managed channels perform
managed channel tasks in unison. Unlike a ganged channel on the K2 Summit system,
a managed channel group is not frame accurate.

1. In the Managed Channel pane, right-click and select

New Channel Group

.
