1. Disconnect the negative battery cable!
A). Loosen the hose clamp that holds the factory
intake tube to the air cleaner lid. B). Loosen the
two bolts that hold the lid of the air cleaner to the
base. C). Disconnect the wiring harness from the
mass air sensor. 2. Carefully remove the lid, turn it over, and pinch
the two tabs together to remove the plastic wiring
harness holder from the lid (If equipped). Now re-
move the lid from the vehicle and set it aside, it will
be reinstalled later.

3. Reach down behind the engine with your pliers,
and squeeze this clamp, and remove the intake tube
from the throttle body. 4. Using a 12mm socket, remove four bolts that
hold the throttle body to the intake manifold.
