6-6 Pneumatic System Maintenance
The OFE Feeder uses plant-supplied compressed air to operate the reload valve on the
surge hopper.
It is the user’s responsibility to provide CLEAN AND DRY air. The air supply should be
filtered through a 5 micron air filter and have a water separator installed. Oil should not
be used unless air dryers are installed on the compressed air supply.
Important! Dirty air can affect accuracy, result in poor performance
and cause injury. Provide a 5-micron air filter on the air
supply to the blender and be sure excess oil is removed.

AEC provides all pneumatic lines on the feeder piped to a single ¼” NPT standard pipe
thread fitting.
