The figures shown below may vary greatly depending on the application. Some of
the issues are:
PC Architecture and performance
Transfer parameters.
• The transfer size.
• Frequency of transfer.
• The layout of the target memory. (Scatter/Gather or contiguous)
Availability of the CompactPCI bus.
• Other devices on the CompactPCI bus.
• Debugging traffic on the bus.
• ComPort traffic.
