Optional Cultured Rocks
The HL38DF* has the option of installing the cultured rocks which mimic
real stone. These may be spaced at random or in a visual pattern of your
preference in the burner tray. See the Montigo web site for photographs
and ideas.

Installing Firestones in Natural Gas and Propane Fireplaces
The HL38DF* fireplace
is supplied with firestones. Remove the Door
as shown on page 22. Follow these instructions to ensure all parts
are removed or replaced as required. Once the glass door is removed
place the firestones randomly across the pan as described in Figure
28 to 28a.

2. Remove lava rocks from lava tray and remove lava tray from around
the burner.

Designer River Rocks - Converting from H38DFN* to
HR38DFN*:
To convert your H38DF fireplace to an HR38DF unit with designer river
rocks, follow these instructions:

1. Remove existing ceramic logs from H38DF unit.
