5. Power “ON” the PC.
6. Apply power to the WaveBook or DaqBook.
7. Check the Window’s Device Manager and make note of the WBK20A’s port assignment.
If needed, refer to chapter 4, Finding the Port Assignment.
If IOtech WBK20A is not listed in the Windows Device Manager, refer to the
“Troubleshooting, Symptom 1” section of chapter 6.
8. Before using the WBK20A in an actual application, test the interface as described in
chapter 5, Testing the WBK20A Interface.
If the interface test fails, refer to the “Troubleshooting, Symptom 2”
section of chapter 6.
