Setup for WBK20A Windows XP
Reference Note:
This section applies only to Windows XP. If you are using
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me ,
or Windows 2000 , refer to the applicable section of this chapter.
1. Place the Data Acquisition CD into your CD ROM drive.
(a) If you have not yet installed product support for your device; i.e., WaveBook Support or
DaqBook Support, do so at this time. Consult your WaveBook or DaqBook documentation
as needed. After installation, with the CD still in the drive, continue with step 2.
(b) If you have already installed product support for your device, and if your CD drive has
auto-run, wait for the Master Setup Screen to appear, then click .
2. Insert the WBK20A, label-side up, into your computer’s PCMCIA adapter slot.
Windows XP will indicate that it has found a new device

3. The Windows Hardware Wizard will then launch. Select the option “Install from a list or specific
location (Advanced).” Then click to continue.
