6. Select Run as the Event, and then click on [

BROWSE

]. Select a message to run upon

reaching the End value (“Hot” from the “Summer” library).

7. Click on

to save the counter’s information.

To setup Counter 2:

1. Select Counter 2. A dot

appears next to the name to
indicate it has been
selected. Click on [

TIMER

].

The RTD information is
now disabled.

2. The timer is to count down

to the first day of summer
(June 21) from the current
date of April 3. Based off of
this information and the
current time, the timer’s
Start Value should be “78”
Days, “14” Hours, “18”
Minutes and “50” Seconds.

3. The End Value is “0”

Days, “0” Hours, “0”
Minutes and “0” Seconds.

4. Select Blank & Run as the

Event, and then click on
[

BROWSE

]. Select a

message to run upon
reaching the End Value (“Waves” from the “Summer” library).

5. Click on

to save the timer’s information.

To send the files to the sign(s):

1. Click on Counter 1 to return to the first counter.
2. In the Communications box, click on the name of the sign the counter information should

be sent to.

3. Click the mouse on [

SET COUNTER 1

]. The configuration information for Counter 1 is sent

to the sign.

4. To send the counter file to other signs, repeat the previous two steps.
5. Click on Counter 2 to return to the timer’s information.
6. In the Communications box, click on the name of the sign the timer information should be

sent to.

7. Click the mouse on [

SET COUNTER 2

]. The configuration information for Counter 2 (the

timer) is sent to the sign.

8. To send the timer file to other signs, repeat the previous two steps.

The counters can be started simultaneously or one at a time.


1. For this example, we only want the timer (Counter 2) to start running. Click on the box

next to Counter 2 at the bottom of the screen. A check mark will indicate it is selected.

2. Click on [

START COUNTER(S)

].
