Changing a Password
To change the password, type the old password in the Old Password box, the new
password in the New Password box and in the Retype New Password box.
Removing a Password
To remove an existing password (no password will
be required to enter the configuration system), type
in the old password in the Old Password box then
click on
or press <

to return to the Security Configuration
dialog box.

Protection
Click on [
PROFANITY PROTECTION
]
or press <
ALT

R
> to access
profanity configuration.
To activate profanity protection,
click on the box next to Enable
Profanity Protection. A check
mark in the box indicates the
protection feature is ON.
The software will now perform
searches on text in any messages
that are saved in the message editor
for words that are included on the
profanity list.

Note: To perform searches on whole words only, click on Match
Whole Word Only at the bottom of the screen. The check mark indicates that this
option is on.
Adding New Words
To add new words to the profanity feature, type the new word in the box titled
Enter Profanity Entries Here: Click on <
ADD
>.
Removing a Word
To remove a word from the profanity list, highlight the word then click on
<
DELETE
>.
Default Words
Profane, indecent and obscene words as identified in the FCC vs. Pacifica Foundation
(438 U.S. 726 [1978]) legal case are specified by the default setting within the
software. To enable protection against these words, click on Enable Default Words.
A check mark indicates this feature is turned ON.
Click on
to return to the Security Configuration dialog box.
