Language selection: From UPS software version >= 2.0.0.9 the language of the UPS dialogs can be
selected at runtime. The language settings are permanently stored for all users if they have been changed
by a user with administrator rights. All other users can change the language, but the setting is not
permanently saved.
The ‘User Default’ language setting has a special meaning. It is recommended to use this setting on an
operating system with a Multilingual User Interface (MUI). The UPS dialog then appears automatically in the
language that you have set under Control Panel ­> Regional Settings for the UI dialogs.
If a language is not supported by the Beckhoff UPS dialog, the dialog appears in US English.
Power­fail counter: From UPS software version >= 3.0.0.6. The counter is set to zero on starting the UPS
service and counts the number of power failures detected by the UPS service.
