In case of, “ram-disk based” or “network boot installation”. The above script will prompt
you to specify IP-address, username and password of a TFTP server on which the license key
needs to be stored. Going forward, SSF start-up script will fetch the license keys from the
connected TFTP/DHCP server. The SSF start-up script will derive the TFTP/DHCP server
from /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient*.leases file
3.2.6 Starting SSF
It starts automatically once you restart the system. This section describes methods to start the
SSF application manually, followed by sections for starting the Web Interface, SSF Core, Blade
SSF Core, and Application agent individually.
Note: There should be a valid license to access the management interface of SSF core. For more
details, refer
Chapter A, License Management, on page 71
3.2.6.1 Starting SSF Core
You can start the SSF Core using the RC scripts. Execute the S98startPostgre.sh,
S99SsfRun.sh
scripts with start command to start SSF Core. This scripts initiates
the SSF core.
The licenseinstaller script requires TFTP server to have pre-existing directory at the
location tftpboot/LicenseKeys.
