Custom Configuration
This section is for advanced users.
Flexible partition layout
You can change the partition layout during the installation. A directory called configs is
created upon untarring release tar file. This directory contains different configuration files for
hard disks of different sizes. Linuxrc picks different partition layout files during installation,
depending upon the type of disk selected by you (default being first hard disk and timeout is
10 secs for selection).
You can change the partition_layout files according to the rules mentioned in the
corresponding files. After changing the files, verify the validity of the layout file by running the
local
script provided in the configs folder.
Usage: ./local disk_size(GB) configuration_file
Alternate configuration for disk installation
An alternate configuration for disk installation is also available, where you can specify the TFTP
server IP and location of installation directory in kernel command line. This command line
option is passed directly to linuxrc and is interpreted by linuxrc.
