INSTALL TEMPLATE
Install a washer (WB002) on four of the 1" bolts
(HB030). Insert a bolt thru both holes in each of the template
supports (7600A) and start oval nuts (5760B - raised side
first) on the ends of the bolts. Slide a support on to each end
of the 18" Ultra Track (4418), with the oval nuts in the T-slots
of the Ultra Track, and lightly tighten the bolts. IF you’re
assembling for STATIONARY USE (pg. 2, fig 1 & 2), see
fig. 5. IF you’re assembling for PORTABLE USE (pg. 2,
fig. 3 & 4), disregard the MDF Base shown in fig. 5, etc.
Install a 1" bolt (HB030) thru the cross hole in both of
the template nuts (7600P). Install a washer (WB002), a 1/8"
spacer (BUSH001), another washer (WB002) and a ratchet
handle (5860) on the end of both bolts. Slide a template nut/
bolt head in to the T-slot of each template support. Position
the template nut so it sticks above the template support
approximately 1/4" and tighten the ratchet handle. See fig. 6.
7A: Attach the pair of template brackets (7600C1) to each
end of the dovetail template (7600T, or whatever template you
are using) with two 3/4" screws (MF010) per bracket.
7B: Set a washer (WB002) on top of each template
nut and set the template/template bracket assembly on the
washers, lining up the slots in the template brackets with the
holes in the template nuts (loosen one of the template supports
if necessary). Fasten the template brackets to the template
nuts using a washer (WB002) and a 3/4" bolt (HB020).
Loosen the four bolts holding the template supports to
the Ultra Track. Position this assembly (template supports/
dovetail template, etc.) so it’s evenly spaced from each end
of the Ultra Track and retighten the four bolts. See fig. 5.
INSTALL STOPS
Slide the head of two 1-1/4" bolts (HB040) in to the
top T-slot in the front of the Ultra Track, under the first
cutout at each end of the template. Place the left stop of
the stop pair (7600S) on the bolt to the left and the right
stop on the bolt to the right. Fasten the stop to the bolt
with a 1/2" spacer (BUSH5050) and a brass knob (5520).
Position the stops so they're approximately 1-1/2" in from
the ends of the Ultra Track for now. See fig. 8.
Loosen the two bolts holding the template
brackets to the template nuts and adjust them so the
front edge of the two template brackets are flush
with the face of the Ultra Track. See fig. 9
