Float Attachment
Flanged Process Connection
Place the Stem with Attraction Sleeve inside the
flange of the Switch Housing Assembly.
Place the Stop Tube over the Stem.
Place two drops of Loctite 271 inside each small
threaded hole in the flange bottom.
Slide the guide tube into place so that the stem
goes inside.
Attach the Guide Tube to the flange using the
8/32 screws (qty 2). Do not over-tighten.
Thread the nut onto the exposed end of the stem.
Place two drops of Loctite 271 inside the
threaded hole of the float.
Holding the stem with pliers, thread the float
onto the stem and hand-tighten. Thread the nut
down against the float and tighten securely.

Threaded Process Connection
Remove the protective rubber plug from the end
of the Guide Tube and Stem.
Thread the nut onto the exposed end of the stem.
Place two drops of Loctite 271 inside the
threaded hole of the float.
Holding the stem with pliers, thread the float onto
the stem and hand-tighten. Thread the nut down
against the float and tighten securely.
