If you have included an optional 3.5G module in your
purchase option, follow the instructions below to install
the USIM card (which will be provided by your service
provider), and then install the application.
1. Turn off the computer, and turn it over and remove the
battery.
2. Locate the SIM card cover and loosen screw in Figure
12 .
3. Remove the SIM card cover in Figure 12 .
4. Insert the USIM card as you would into your mobile phone.
5. Slide the SIMLOCK towards the hinge (in the opposite
direction to the arrow illustrated in
Figure 13 ) in order to
release the lock and lift it up.

6. Insert the USIM card as illustrated in ( Figure 13 ) and
close the SIMLOCK.
7. Lock the SIMLOCK by pushing it in the direction of the
arrow in
Figure 13 until it clicks into the lock position.
8. Replace the cover, screw and battery.

Power Safety Warning
Before you undertake any installation procedures, make
sure that you have turned off the power, and disconnected
all peripherals and cables (including telephone lines). It is
advisable to also remove your battery in order to prevent
accidentally turning the machine on.
