5.4. BACKUGHT
The LCD and keypad backlight is turned on when you press
any key. In order to save power, this backlight will be turned
off after 8 seconds from the last touch of any key(Default
Option).

It is important to note that the backlight function is a major
drain of battery power. Therefore, it is highly recommended
that if you use the phone in daylight or well lighted loca
tions, turn off the backlight by setting the mode option to
OFF mode. This will extend battery life dramatically(See
chapter 7.4 for detail).
'■ Note
Your PR130 phone has be programmed to turn off the back
light when battery is low in order to reduce current con
sumption even though the option of backlight is in the
AUTO mode.
5.8. MASTER RESET/CLEAR

This feature changes the status of the telephone to factory
production status. If you want to reset all changed status to
manufacturer's default status, use this feature. The resetting
time is about 20 seconds.

When the battery power is almost completely discharged, the
warning beep alarm will be generated periodically and the
message "LBATT' is displayed on LCD. At that time, you
should replace the low battery with a new fully charged one.
5.6. CALL IN ABSENCE INDICATOR
AND COUNTER
When a call is not answered, or your party or Carrier Service
terminate the call, the PR130 will display the number of unan
swered calls received. The call counter is cleared when you
answer a call or when you turn your phone off.
5.7. AUTOMATIC ANSWER
When this feature is set, the PR130 will automatically answer
a call even though you do not press the ISEND] key to
answer the key. The phone will generate an alert tone two
times and connect the call automatically (See chapter 7.4 for
details).

The PR130 has a dual NAM (Two telephone numbers) capa
bility. If two NAM's are assigned to your phone and you
would like to change the NAM's, press the IRCL] key.

the required NAM. When the NAM you want is displayed,
simply press the [STOl key and the telephone number dis
played will become your selected NAM. If you would like to
cancel this function, just press the [CLR] key.
