A) [iACK-UGHT:In the OFF mode, the backlight will never
turn on except under incoming ringing. The default mode is

AUTO mode Backlighting, turns on by pressing any key. It
stays on for 8 seconds.

B) IXING DTMF:If option is set to the ON mode, the DTMF

signal will be transmitted when a key(s) is pressed.

C) ANY KEY ANSWERdf this option is set to the ON mode,
you can answer incoming calls by pressing any key except
the [PWR] key. If option is set off. you can only answer the

call by pressing the (SENDl key.

D) 1 MINUTE BEEP:If this option is set to the ON mode, a

beep is generated every 60 seconds during your conversation

to indicate another minute of call time. In the OFF mode, no
beep is heard.

E) AUTOMATIC LOCK If this option is set to the ON mode,

the phone will be locked whenever you turn the phone off
and then on again. It must be unlocked by entering your
three-digit lock code before the phone can be used for outgo­
ing calls. (In the locked state, you can receive calls but not

make calls) In the OFF mode, the phone can be used when

turned on.

F) AUTOMATIC REDIAL:If this option is set to the ON
mode, the phone will automatically redial any number called

that is not connected, (busy cell site or out of service) It will

perform this function 10 times before automatically stopping.

In the OFF mode, you have to manually request the redial
function.

G) AUTOMATIC CALL TIME COUNTER:If this option is set
to the ON mode, the call time counter is displayed on the

LCD during call of your conversation. In the OFF mode, the

call time counter is never displayed on LCD.

H) AUTO ANSWERiIf this option is set to the ON mode and a

call is received, the phone will answer the call automatically
after the second ring. In the OFF mode, you must press the

[SEND] key or any key in the (ANY KEY ANSWERI mode.

I) OUT-GOING CALL RESTRICT10N:If this option is set to 7.

you can not dial numbers that are greater than 7 digits. If this

option is set to 11, you can not dial numbers that are greater
than 11 digits. In the off mode, you can dial any number.

J) INCOMING CALL RESTRI(niON:If this option is is set to

the ON mode, you can not receive an incoming call. If it is set
to OFF mode, you can receive incoming calls.
