This function allows you to confer privately with others dur­
ing a conversation. If you want to mute your voice(i.e.stop
your voice from being transmitted), simply press the [FCN]
key and the number [21 key "MUTE" message will be dis­
played on the LCD. To resume the conversation, press the
[FCN] key and the number [2] key again. Then the "MUTE"
message disappears from the LCD.

I In the mute state, DTMF tones are not transmitted.
5.3. VOLUME ADJUSTMENTS
You can control the volume of the voice, key pad and the ring
tone by using the volume buttons which are on the left side of
the phone. The LCD displays the controling state of the vol­
ume with the number of bars.
5.3.1. AUDIO VOLUME ADJUSTMENT

TO DECREASE: (▼ 1 (Hold until desired level is reached)
To increase the volume during a conversation, press volume
up [ a 1 key and hold it down until the desired level is
reached, then release the k^. To decrease the volume press
the volume down [Tj key and hold it down until the desired
level is reached, then release the key. The phone stores and
remembers the last entered level until you change it
5.3.2. KEYPAD TONE VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
