keep the wire away from the soark plug, and let

Inspect nuts & bolts for tightness

Inspect operator controls

Clean underside of mower and inside of
discharge chute
•
Inspect blade for sharpness
•
Inspect electric start wires and cables
•
Inspect electrolyte level in battery
•
Recharge battery
Before and after prolonged storage
Lubricate traction drive chain, linkages,
pivot points, throttle control cable, and
wheel mounting bolts and studs
•
Check tension on wheel drive belt and
chain
•
Check tension on blade drive belt
•
Check tire pressure
•
Or once a week, whichever is sooner.
Perform the Blade Brake Control
3-second Stop Test described on
Page 34

At the start of each season and after
every 10 operating hours.
Sharpen or replace blade
Whenever damaged, out of
