Always use the correct type of needle for
your machine.
Always use the appropriate size needle for
the thread and fabric you are using.
Always change the needle after every
garment.
Needles dull easily and when dull, will
damage both your fabric and your
machine. Many service probfems are the
result of rough spots on the needle plates
and hook.
Always put needle in machine correctly.
It will cause stitches to be skipped if it is
inserted incorrectly.
Pulling on fabric while sewing will bend
the needle, which will subsequently
damage the needle.
2. CLEANING

After each garment is completed, a light
cleaning is recommended. Use a lint
brush to remove all lint from the open
areas in the bed of the machine, especial
ly in the grooves of the feed dog. Push
the needle plate release button. The
needle plate will pop up to remove. The
area around the feed dog is one of the
most important areas to dean. Lack of
maintainance may cause serious damage
to your machine.
b. Keep machine covered when not in use to
prevent accumulation of dust and dirt
particles.
