(12) DAYLIGHT-SYNC SHOOTING
Purpose
In daylight conditions, when a portrait picture is taken
with a person's face cast in shadow, discharging the
flash will eliminate the shadow.
Daylight-sync photography is obtained in the same
manner as normal flash photography, so you simply
depress the shutter release button.
• If the background is too bright, it may be overex­
posed.
• When taking a daylight-sync photograph in the
Programmed AE Mode, the flash does not discharge
if the automatic flash function is activated even if the
flash is in the popped-up position. Before shooting,
confirm that [Q ] is not displayed on the LCD panel.
