NOTE: Always first select the desired mode (HOME, TV,
VCR, CABLE, orAUX) by pressing the MODE SELECT
button. Then, Press the desired feature button (PLAY,
SEARCH, etc.). The remote control will remain tuned to the
selected mode until another mode is chosen.
Press HOME to control the Receiver.
Press TV to control the TV.
Press VCR to control the VCR.
Press CABLE to control the Cable
Controller Box.
Press AUX to control your CD Player,
LD Player, or Audio Cassette Deck.

Using vour remote with a TV- VCR.
CABLE, or AUX (CD Player. Laser
Disc Player, etc.):
^ SET
Press to “setup” your remote control
to operate your other AudioA^ideo
equipment, such as a TV, or VCR.
TVA^CR, SOURCE
Press this button when the remote is
in the VCR mode to select VCR or TV on
the VCR.
MUTE
Press to turn the sound off. Press again to
return the sound to its previous level.
<$> CH(annel)/TUNER (T/A)
Press, when the remote control is in
the TV, VCR, or CABLE mode, to select
a TV channel.
VOL(ume)(V /A)
When the remote is in the TV mode,
press to adjust TV’s volume.
<^> NUMBER buttons
When the remote is in the TV, VCR,
or CABLE mode, use these buttons
to select a TV channel.
VCR, TAPE FUNCTION keys
◄◄ (REWIND), PLAY, ►► (FAST
FORWARD), REC(ord), STOP, and
PAUSE.
<è> DEVICE
Press to select the desired mode (HOME,
TV, VCR, CABLE, AUX). The remote
will then control the selected equipment.
LED
The LED lights up when performing the
remote control “setup.” For details, see
pages 26-27.
Also, the LED flashes whenever a button is
pressed during normal remote use.
