VOLUME LEVEL INDICATOR

LED lights when Receiver’s power is on.

<|> MASTER VOLUME control

'Him this knob to adjust the sound level up
and down. For details, see page 18.

NOTE: When Surround Mode is on, the MASTER VOLUME
controls the overall sound level of all speakers. When Surround is
off, the MASTER VOLUME controls the Front Left and Right
Speakers’ and the Subwoofer's sound level.

<$> PRO LOGIC

Press to turn DOLBY PRO LOGIC on.
For details, see pages 19-22.

TEST

Press to begin the TEST TONE mode. Press again
to stop the test. For details, see pages 19-22.

<|> SURROUND MODE

Press to turn the SURROUND MODE on and off.
For details, see pages 19-22.

<|> BALANCE (L/R)

Turn this knob to adjust the balance of sound
coming from the Front Left and Right Speakers.
For details, see page 18.

<7> PRO LOGIC CENTER MODE (+/-)

Press the (+) or (-) button to select NORMAL,
WIDE or PHANTOM.
For details, see pages 19-22.

<|>MUTE

Press to turn the sound off. Press again to return
the sound to its previous level. The STANDBY/
MUTE LED will flash when MUTE is on.

<9> SURROUND LEVEL (+/-)

Press the (+) or (-) button to adjust the Left and
Right Surround Speakers’ relative sound level up
and down. For details, see pages 19-22.

CENTER LEVEL (+/-)

Press the (+) or (-) button to adjust the Center
Speaker’s relative sound level up and down. For
details, see pages 19-22.

<0> SOURCE SELECTOR (TUNER/

BAND, VIDEO/DVD,CD/DSS,
LD/CAM)

Press to select the desired mode. For details,
see page 18. You can also turn the Receiver on by
pressing a SOURCE SELECTOR button.

AUTO/MANUAL

Press to select either AUTO or MANUAL (AM/FM)

tuning mode. For detaih, see pages 23-24.

STEREO/MONO

Press to select either ST(ereo) or MONO sound.

TUNING (T/A)

Press the (T) “down” or (A) “up” button to
select an AM/FM station. For details, see pages
23-24. Also, use these buttons to set the clock.
