Your Home Theatre Receiver’s remote control will not only operate your Receiver but will also operate many brands of
infrared-controlled TVs, VCRs, and Cable Controllers. Many CD Players, or Laser Disc Players, or Audio Cassette Decks can
be controlled as well. For details, see pages 26 through 32.

To load the supplied batteries into the remote
control:

<^1^ Remove the Battery compartment lid on the back of

I the remote.

Place the 2 AAA batteries in the remote. Be sure to
line the (+) and (-) ends of the batteries as indicated
inside the battery compartment.

<^3^ Reattach the battery lid.____________________________

Using your remote with the
Home Theatre Receiver:

NOTES: Be sure to first press the “HOME” button
before operating your Receiver with the remote. The
remote control will remain tuned to the “HOME”

(or Receiver) mode until another mode is chosen.

Be sure to point the remote toward the remote sensor
on the front of the Receiver.

TVA^CR, SOURCE

Press this button to select the desired
Receiver mode (TUNER, VCR, CD, etc.).
For details, see page 18.

MUTE

Press to turn the sound off. Press again to
return the sound to its previous level.

<|> CH(annel)/TUNING (T/A)

Press the (T) or (A) button, when the
Receiver is in the TUNER mode, to select

an AM/EM station. For details, see pages
23-24.

STANDBY'ON

Press to turn the Receiver on. Press again
to turn the Receiver off.

<|> VOLUME (V / A)

Press to adjust the sound level up and down.
For details, see page 13.

<|> ENT(er),FREQ

Press to enter a direct AM/FM station
frequency. For details, see pages 23-24.

<|> DISP/SLEEP

Press to set the SLEEP timer. For details,
see page 25.

NUMBER buttons

When the Receiver is in the TUNER mode,
press to enter a direct AM/FM station
frequency. For details, see pages 23-24.

RECL, MEMORY

I Press to store AM/FM stations in memory.
I For details, see pages 23-24.

SELECT, (-/+)

Press to select the CENTER or
SURROUND levels. Press the (+) or (-)
button to adjust the selected level. For
details, see pages 19-22.

DEVICE

Press to select the desired mode (HOME,
TV, VCR, CABLE, AUX). The remote
will then control the selected equipment.

SUBW. LEVEL

Press to cyclic adjust the SUBWOOFER
LEVEL up or down, see page 17.
