REMOVING THE TRANSIT PAD

POWER CONNECTION

Press the ON/OFF button (7) on the player.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (2) on the player to open the disc
triiy(l).

Take the transport pad from the disc tray.

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button (2) on the player to close the

1глу(1).
To avoid damages to the CD-I player when transporting, keep the
transport pad and reuse it whenever you are transporting the
player.

PLACEMENT

Check if the power voltage indicated at the player matches

the voltage of the AC outlet.

Connect the female end of the AC (alternating current) cord

supplied into the AC socket (7) on the player rear panel.

Plug the male end of the cord into an AC outlet.

Place the player on a firm, flat surface.
Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

In a cabinet, allow 1 inch (2-3 cm) of free space all around

the unit for adequate ventilation.

NOTE: Digital Video (Full Motion Video) CD-I discs require

the optional Digital Video Cartridge (22ER9141) available from
