SLING AND ADAPTOR – The MR762A1-LRP is equipped with a simple and state of the
art VCAS sling system made by Blue Force Gear. The sling is one of the most under-used
aspects of marksmanship to provide proper support and steady the rifle.

Fig. 77 a,b,c,d – VCAS Sling Installation on G28 Buttstock
To attach the sling start with the buttstock end. Remove the keeper from the sling and
slide the sling webbing through the desired location on the buttstock (recommend left
side for left hand shooter). With the loose end of the sling webbing showing through the
buttstock, re-attach the keeper as a locking device.
Attach the sling rail adaptor (RMFL) to the Free Floating Rail System by removing the
screw in the RMFL and sliding the adaptor over the Picatinny rail to the desired location.
Re-install the screw to hold it in place. Recommend having the screw in the top position
and recommend locating the sling adaptor on the left side for a right-handed shooter at
about the midway point of the rail system.

For target shooter who will be using the sling as a primary means of support then
recommend attaching the sling adaptor to the bottom of the rail at the midway point.
Thread the loose sling webbing of the muzzle end of the sling through the sling adaptor
and tighten. For more information, visit www.blueforcegear.com.
