SECTION 10 — MR762A1 LONG RIFLE PACKAGE
The MR762A1-LRP is a standard Heckler & Koch MR762A1 equipped with an essential
accessory package to function as an enhanced “long rifle” precision shooting platform.
The “Long Rifle” accessory package is shown in the illustration below and include the
following:
1. Pelican Model 1720 Long Gun Case with custom foam insert
2. Otis Universal Cleaning kit (FG-85211)
3. HK G28 adjustable buttstock , buffer extension tube, with G28 castle nut
4. A.I.M. Manta Rails rail covers kit
5. Ergo pistol grip (with tool compartment)
6. Larue Tactical-Harris Bipod (BRM-S) with LT706 Quick Detach mount
7. Blue Force Gear Rail Mount Fixed Loop (RMFL) “Sling Rail Adaptor”
8. Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Sling (VCAS-125-AA-CB)
9. Leupold VX-R Patrol 3-9X40mm Matte Fire Dot TMR Scope with Mark 4 30mm

OPERATOR ACCESSORY INSTRUCTIONS
The MR762A1-LRP will be delivered with most items already installed. Some accessories
will need to be adjusted on the system based on the operator’s desires. Always read and
follow the weapon and accessory owner manual and instructions prior to use.
MR762A1 Operation and Maintenance – Follow the MR762A1 operator’s manual (pages
5-45 of this booklet) for basic operation, maintenance, and use.
Otis Cleaning kit – Follow the OTIS and MR762A1 cleaning instructions using the 7.62mm
items in the cleaning kit.

ADjUSTING THE G28 BUTTSTOCK
The HK G28 buttstock is already installed on the rifle. The stock operates the same as the
standard MR762A1 buttstock and is also adjustable for micro (fine-tuned) length-of-pull
settings and cheekpiece height alteration for optimal use with the scope.
MR762A1 LRP Buttstock Adjustment Procedures
Tools Needed: HK Multi-Function Tool with 3mm and 4mm Allen Wrenches
Small Flat head Screwdriver
1. Ensure the MR762A1 is clear by performing a safety check before attempting to make
any adjustments on the buttstock.
2. Adjusting the Length: Coarse Adjustment
The buttstock on the MR762A1 LRP can be adjusted into one of four positions by
depressing the serrated bottom portion of the release lever, located underneath the stock,
and sliding the stock into the desired position (Fig.65).

Tighten the small locking screw clockwise utilizing a 4mm Allen Wrench to eliminate the
play between the receiver extension and the butt stock (Fig.66).

NOTE: The locking screw must be loosened before attempting to manipulate the
release lever to readjust the buttstock
