Receiving Faxes
This chapter describes the different ways to receive faxes. It also explains how to set the receive mode and to cancel
the documents the machine is receiving.
Setting the Receive Mode
Follow this procedure to set the receive mode:

Press [Menu].

(+)] to select

(+)] to select the receive mode

You can select from the following:

Receiving Faxes Automatically: FaxOnly Mode
If you want to select
■ Select This Mode If:

you have a dedicated telephone line for fax use only.
•
you only want to receive faxes automatically with the machine.
■ You Will Need to:

set
•
connect the machine to a dedicated telephone line. (See "Connect telephone cable," in the Set-Up Sheet.)
