FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
U s e the front AIVjacks to
connect a camcorder, video
game system or other VCR.
U s e the L2 Video Input
Channel t o record.
AUDIO (LEFT/MONO and RIGHT) and VIDEO INPUT Jacks Receives signals from another
component (like a VCR, camcorder, digital camera, or video game system) when connected to
these jacks. Use INPUT on the remote to select L2 to record when using these jacks.
CHANNEL TRACKING Up or Down Selects next higher or lower channel in the VCR's channel
memory. Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing. Press both together to recenter tracking.
FWD Forwards the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture forward during
playback. Starts slow motion during play-pause and increases stow-motion speed.
PLAY PAUSE Plays a tape. Pauses action for viewing during playback. Pauses recording to
prevent recording of unwanted scenes.
POWER Turns the VCR on or off.
RECORD Starts VCR recording. Used for express recording.
Remote Sensor Receives signals from the remote control. Aim the remote at this sensor.
REV Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse during playback.
Starts stow motion during play-pause and decreases slow-motion speed.
TAPE SPEED Selects a recording speed (either SP or SLP).
STOP'EJECT Stops the normal functions such as record, playback, rewind, fast-forward, or
pause. Ejects the tape when the VCR is stopped.
TV*VCR Switches the picture signal so that it either comes from the VCR or the cable/antenna
system.
