NOTES
When you wake up the camcorder from Quick
Start mode, the following settings will be
changed automatically.
- Manual focus returns to automatic focus (AF).
- Manual exposure adjustment returns to
automatic exposure.
- Zoom position returns to full wide angle W.
In Quick-Start ready mode, the camcorder
consumes only half the power used while
recording. Using this mode you can save
energy when using a battery pack.
While the camcorder is in Quick-Start ready
mode (QUICK START button lit up):
- If you change the position of the
/
switch, the camcorder will shut off. To restore
the power, turn the camcorder off and then on
again.
- The camcorder will shut off if left in the Quick-
Start ready mode for 30 minutes, regardless of
the [POWER SAVE] setting (
41). To restore
the power, turn the camcorder off and then on
again.
- If you open the cassette compartment cover,
the camcorder will return to record pause mode.

Playing Back Movies
Play back the tape on the LCD display or
close the LCD panel to use the
viewfinder. You can also turn the LCD
panel and close it with the screen facing
out.
