• Enter the TAD mode after 15 rings if the OGM is recorded and the ICM is not full. The
OGM will start after 15 rings. After completion of this call, the unit will revert to its
original status - no TAD and no AUTO ANSWER.

Toll-saver feature
This function works on the FAX-195 in the TAD mode as follows. The unit's TAD will answer
your call on:
•
5 rings if there is no message - then, after 5 rings the OGM will go on. Thus, unless
you wish to record a message on your unit via the remote TAD feature, you can hang up
before the 5-th ring and save the cost of a completed phone call.
•
2 rings if there is a message or messages. The OGM will start after 2 rings and you can
use remote control procedures to pick up the message.
•
2 rings if the ICM is full. Then, after 2 rings. Auto Answer will go on.
J. The auto-page function
The FAX-195 has a unique feature - the Auto Page Function. This feature makes it possible to
have your FAX-195 page you at an assigned telephone number every time it receives a message.
This switch is located on the back of the unit. To utilize this capability:
1.
Record the telephone number at which you wish to be paged as the 19-th speed dial
number. Only one PAUSE can be entered in this telephone number for Auto Page.
2.
Turn the Auto Page Switch ON and the PAGE lamp will go on. When a message
comes into your FAX-195, it dials the number which you have recorded and when you
pick up the receiver you will hear short beeps. Give the system 15 seconds and then
pick up the message (ICM) using the remote playback feature. Note that the auto
paging call will ring up to 15 times and will repeat up to three times at 10 minute
intervals unless the ICM is played back via remote control.
3.
To cancel this function, simply turn the Auto Page switch OFF.
