Polling Another Fax Machine (Calling)
Once you have set up polling, as described below, and the other party has set their fax machine
to “POLLED WAITING”, you can receive their documents automatically.
Make sure there are no documents
in your feeder.
1 .
Press
FUNCTION.
2. Press 1.
3. Press
2.
4. Wait for two seconds.
5. Press
SET.
6. Press
STOP.
7. Enter the fax number.
Example: One-touch dialing.
8. Press
START.

Setting up Polled Waiting (Being Called)

Polled Waiting is when you place a document in your fax machine and setyour machine to allow
another fax machine to retrieve that document. Your fax machine will print a Polled Report
after the transmission.
1. Place the documents into the feeder.
2. Press
FUNCTION.
3. Press 1.
4. Press 2.
5. Wait for two seconds.
6. Press
SET.
