OTHER RECORDING FUNCTIONS
Resetting the Camera
Use the following procedure to reset all of the camera’s
settings to their initial defaults as shown under “Menu
Reference” on page 249.
1. In a REC mode or the PLAY mode, press
[MENU].
2. Select the “Set Up” tab, select “Reset”, and
then press [
̈].
3. Use [
̆] and [̄] to select “Reset”, and then
press [SET].
• To cancel the procedure without resetting, select
“Cancel” and press [SET].
Using the Shortcut Menu (EX Menu)
Pressing [EX ] displays a shortcut menu that you can
use to configure white balance, ISO sensitivity, metering,
and AF area settings.
1. In a REC mode, press
[EX
].
2. Use [ ̇] and [̈] to select the item you want,
and then use [
̆] and [̄] to scroll through the
available settings.

3. After configuring the settings you want, press
[SET] to exit the shortcut menu.
