STARTING YOUR DRYER
A WARNING
Explosion Hazard
Keep flammable materials and
vapors, such as gasoline, away
from dryer.
Do not dry anything that has ever
had anything flammable on it (even
after washing).
Failure to follow these instructions
can result in death, explosion,
or fire.
A WARNING
To get the best drying results, you must
operate your dryer properly. This section
gives you this important information.
STEP 1.
Check lint screen. Clean if
needed (see page 56).
STEP 2.
Put laundry into dryer and
shut door.

Fire Hazard
No washer can completely
remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever
had any type of oil on it (including
cooking oils).
Items containing foam, rubber,
or plastic must be dried on a
clothesline or by using an air cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions
can result in death or fire.
STEP 3.
Set Cycle Selector Control
( T i m e r ) ( s e e pages 46 and 47).
STEP 4.
Press PUSH TO START DRYER

• To stop the dryer at any time, open
dryer door.
• To restart, press PUSH TO START
DRYER Button. Be sure door is closed.
• If you wish to end your drying cycle,
turn Cycle Selector Control (Timer)
to OFF.
