2.2.2 Internal Inspection
Each container should be inspected to determine damage to the
contents and/or missing items. Damage to the contents should be
brought to the attention of the Shipper. Damage and missing items
should be brought to the attention of the authorized representative of
BYK-Gardner USA, or the main sales office in Columbia, MD.
2.3 Hardware Installation and Check-Out
The Installation section will be described in three subsections:
Preinstallation, Equipment Positioning, and Equipment Installation.
2.3.1
Preinstallation
Preinstallation is performed before you set up the equipment at your
site. Equipment location and environment are discussed in the
following sections.
2.3.1.1
Location
Determine the desire location and positioning of each of the
components associated with the
color-view™ Spectrophotometer
System. The sensor length and width dimensions are 38.1 cm and
27.3 cm (15 inches and 10 ¾ inches) respectively. The instrument
can be set up with either side facing to the user (lengthwise or
widthwise.) An area appropriately sized for the computer, printer
(optional), keyboard and mouse (optional) is also needed. Additional
storage areas will be required for the accessories and materials used
with the system.
The I/O port on the sensor is recessed into the back of the unit. Only
25 mm (1 inch) of bench space is required behind the sensor.
