number of your model of HP MFP. HP models have similar numbers, so make sure that
you identify the HP model and Group number correctly.
3 Make sure that your MFP meets the requirements specified in the release notes. If you
need to upgrade your MFP, contact HP for assistance.
Uninstalling a Previous Version of HP Software
If you have another version of OXPd, Device eXtensibility Platform (DXP), or Simple Document
Capture (SDC), remove it and install the OXPd files provided with Kofax Front-Office Server.
Only the version provided with Kofax Front-Office Server has been verified to work with the
product.
X To uninstall a previous HP OXPd, DXP, or SDC
1 Open the HP loader page in a Web browser window. Enter the following URL:
http://mfp/hp/device/this.loader
Where mfp is the IP address or host name of the HP MFP.
2 When prompted, enter the user name and password of the HP administrator user. When
you have logged on successfully, the Package Loader page appears (Figure 1).
