Annex III: 24VAC line gauge and transmission distance relationship
If the line gauge is specified, and the loss of 24VAC voltage is less than 10%, the
recommended maximum transmission distance is shown as table below. (For AC
equipment, the maximum permissible voltage loss is 10%. For example: the rated power
of one equipment is 80VA, installed at the place 35 feet away from the transformer (10m),
the required minimum line gauge is 0.8000mm.
