Check whether the motor can
rotate freely by turning the flask
manually. If no external cause can
be found and removed, contact the
BUCHI customer service.

Program error due to a software or
an electronical error
Switch the instrument off and on
again. If the error occurs again,
contact the BUCHI customer
service.
NOTE
As the R-210 has no display, for future versions it is planned to transmit all error messages to the
RS-485 interface, where they can be read out via a special software.
In case several errors are pending, the one with the highest priority will be displayed.
Reset of the overtemperature sensor at the bottom of the heating bath
Let the bath cool down and empty it.
Then set back the temperature probe by press-
ing the button at the bottom of the heating bath
by means of a flattended metal rod (e.g. a Torx
or hexagon wrench), Ø ~4 mm. See Fig. 8.1.
