CLEANING THE THERMAL HEAD

The thermal head in your machine needs to be cleaned occasionally to ensure

clear facsimile reproduction.

To clean the thermal head,

Open the Receiver Cover Uint by depressing the latch button on the right

side panel.

Wipe the surface of the thermal head unit gently with a soft cloth or gauze

soaked with ethyl alcohol. Be sure to use a clean cloth since the thermal

head unit can be easily scratched.
