HOW TO USE THIS MANUAL
Thank you for purchasing a Yamaha MC2410M/MC321OM mixing console.
To take full advantage of your mixing console, we recommend that you read this manual
carefully.
After reading the INTRODUCTION, INSTALLATION and OPERATING TIPS sections, exam
ine the FRONT PANEL OPERATION and REAR PANEL CONNECTIONS sections, so that
you can thoroughly familiarize yourself with this versatile unit.
The SYSTEMS EXAMPLES section suggests some applications for this mixing console. It is
impossible to illustrate the unlimited number of setups available to you, but this section
gives you an idea of the flexibility of the MC2410M/MC321 OM mixing console.
Finally, the last four sections of the manual supply you with full specifications, block dia
gram and level diagram. Serious study of these sections will answer many of your signal
routing questions and enable you to use this unit to its full capabilities. Also be sure to keep
the manual in a safe place for later reference.

Connecting the Plug and Cord
IMPORTANT:The wires in mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
Blue
Brown
NEUTRAL
LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your
plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
Making sure that neither core is connected to the earth terminal of the
three pin plug.
