Program editing
You can make an original tape consisting of your favorite tracks, in
any sequence desired.
The maximum number of tracks allowable for editing is 20 and the
biggest track number allowable for editing is 20. The edit function
does not work for more than 20 tracks nor the track number over
20
.

In the edit mode, silent gaps of approximately 3 seconds will
be automatically inserted between tracks automatically (auto
space function).
Press TAPE LENGTH to select the tape length.

Press SIDE A/B to view the time remaining on
side B.
A minus (-) sign on the remaining time display indicates that
the total time of programmed tracks exceeds the tape length,
and the programmed contents should be changed.

Adjust the recording level on the cassette
deck.
(Follow steps 3 and 4 on page 16.)
Press ► PLAY to start.
Recording on the cassette deck will start at the same time.
• If the cassette deck is set to auto-reverse, recording on tape side
B will begin automatically.
•When recording on tape side B has finished, the CD player will
automatically stop and the cassette deck will switch to recording
standby mode.
