^ Using the Directory
Editing an Item in the Directory
This feature can operate only with the handset
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode

Press BACK 3 or FWD/EDIT® to enter
the directory list
Press [5 or (3
■ The first Item IS displayed
Press nri^ repeatedly to find the
directory Item you want to change (p 53)
Press FWD/EDIT ®
Edit the name using the dialing buttons,
BACK (3 or FWD/EDIT ® (p 51), up to
15 characters
Press Q (Next key)
■ If you do not need to change the number,
press (N^xt key) twice and go to slep B
Add a number to the current number
■ Each time you press
f INTERCOM/HOLD/CLEAR), a character is
erased from the right To erase all at the digits,
press and hold (INTERCOM/HOLD/CLE^
Press (5 (Next key)
When finished, press FWD/EDIT
(Save key)
• To continue editing other items, repeat steps 3
through 0
