Installing the Battery in the Handset
Install the battery and close the handset cover, locking it into place

Place the handset cn the base unit and charge for about 6 hours before
initial use

Battery strength
You can check the battery strength on the display while the handset is on
the base unit, while it is m use (making/answering a call etc ), or after
viewing the Caller List or directory items, programming etc
The battery strength will remain on the display for a few seconds after
using the handset, then the display will return to the standby mode (see
next page)
The battery strength is as shown in the chart below
