Sending DoipuiTients

You can choose either Memory Transmission or Direct Transmission.

Use Direct Transmission if:

• The memory is fuii.

• You want to send the document after talking with the other party.

Use Memory Transmission if:

• You want to send the same document to muitipie stations.
• You have to retrieve the document immediateiy.

Direct Transmission (ADF Transmission)

If the machine’s memory is full or you wish to send the document after talking with the other party, use Direct

Transmission.

Off-Hook Dialling

For Off-Hook Dialling, follow these steps

DOCUMENT SET

ENTER STATION

Set document(s) face down.

Lift the handset of your external telephone and dial the

telephone number from the keypad.

Ex: [a[5][HIT][2][US]

When you hear the voice of the other party, tell the other
party to prepare to receive a document.

Then, when you hear a beep, press I START i and hang

up the handset.

To stop the transmission, press

I STOP I,

The display shows;

COMMUNICATION STOP?

1:YES 2:NO

Press Q] to stop the transmission.
