SLIP Instructions

EdgeAccess Application with SNMP via SLIP

The 9135G Serial Line IP support allows you to attach a dial-up modem to the DCE communications
ports on the SNMP Management Module in order to manage the 9135G via SNMP.

4.1

Configuring the 9135G for SLIP

Connect a DCE to DTE serial modem cable between the 9135G and the PC or terminal. Perform the
following steps:

Step 1 Open a HyperTerminal session. Access the Main Menu screen shown in Figure 35.

Step 2 Select "1" or "System," and at the System Menu, select "3" or "SLIP Port Settings." See
Figure 36.
