Satellite Skyview
The Satellite Skyview Page shows
the azimuth and elevation of each
visible satellite in a graphicslQ^ew
format. Additionally, the DOP and
EPE are displayed. The azimuth
and
elevation
are
useful
in
determining whether a satellite
signal is blocked by buildings,
mountains, or other obstructions. If
a satellite is not currently being
tracked, it will be displayed in
reverse video on the screen

cursor to an item with the arrow
keys and pressing ENT. Each setup

in Chapter 6.

As mentioned earlier, the Position
Pf^ is automatically displayed once
a position is obtained. This page
displays track, ground speed,
latitude and loi^tude relative to
the selectedmap datum (see Section
6.8), as well as a choice of altitude
above mean sea level (MSL) or time
(cyclic field). (Note:
Time
information will not be displayed
when the GPS 65 is acquiring
satellites.)
